Acesso livre e jogo sujo...

Saiu uma notícia na Nature que me deixou um pouco abalado, e por incrível que pareça não tem nada a ver com biologia ou com os melecozoas que eu gosto.

A Association of American Publishers (representados por Wiley, Elsevier, etc...) contratou um cara para difamar as revistas de acesso livre! Como assim difamar?

O cara chama-se Eric Dezenhall e é especializado em salvar celebridades que tiver sua reputação abalada... Vejam a seção "Who we are" do site do cara:

A estratégia de difamação será tentar associar o livre acesso com falta de credibilidade, ou seja ausência de um sistema de revisão antes da publicação (peer review). No entanto, as revistas de acesso livre tem o rigoroso sistema de revisão também, como exemplificado aqui:
